15th Annual Wine & Chocolate Tasting


On Friday, April 4th, St. Francis Children's Center hosted our 15th annual Wine & Chocolate Tasting fundraising event. With 570 guests in attendance, this year's event raised $48,600 to support the programs and services we provide to children throughout our community. We would like to extend our thanks to all who contributed to its success!

Attendees had the opportunity to sample delicious hors d'oeuvres catered by DoubleTree Hotel, taste nearly 100 wines selected especially for the event by the wine experts at Grapes & Grain of Mequon and indulge in gourmet chocolates from Burke Candy, The Chocolate House Retail Store, Cholive, Connoisseur House of Chocolates, Half Nuts, Kehr's Kandy Kitchen, Lindt Chocolate Shop, The Melting Pot, Northern Chocolate Company, Panera Bread, Quality Candy, Whole Foods Market and Winkie's.

Many thanks to our 75 event volunteers, including corporate volunteers from Northwestern Mutual, Johnson Controls, Rock-Tenn Company, Foamtek Inc. and Chase.

A special thank you also goes out to Bob Moore, Fox 6 News, for serving as our celebrity waiter for the evening!
