17th Annual Wine & Chocolate Tasting

On Friday, March 19th, 2010 St. Francis Children's Center hosted our 17th annual Wine & Chocolate Tasting. With nearly 500 guests in attendance, this year's event raised more than $40,000 to support the programs and services we provide to children with special needs throughout our community. We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to all who contributed to its success!

Attendees had the opportunity to sample delicious hors d'oeuvres catered by Out & Out Custard & Sandwiches of Cedarburg, taste an incredible selection of wines coordinated by Otto's Beverage Centers and indulge in a selection of the area's finest gourmet chocolates from Amaranth Bakery, Burke Candy, Half Nuts, The Cholive Company, Kehr's Kandy Kitchen, The Melting Pot, Northern Chocolate Co., Panera Bread, Quality Candy, Ultimate Confections, Whole Foods Market, and Winkie's.

We also thank the beer vendors from Buffalo Water Beer Co., Capital Brewery, Horny Goat Brewing Co., Magic Hat Brewery, Milwaukee Brewing Co., and Sprecher Brewing Co.

We are grateful to the 70+ volunteers who ensured the success of the night, include the corporate groups from Froedtert, Johnson Controls, Northwestern Mutual and Rock-Tenn Company.

Finally, a special thank you to Bob Moore of Fox6 News for serving as our celebrity waiter.
