Hello families,

This month we will be focusing on every two year old's favorite subject, ME! We have a lot of fun activities planned as we learn about our friends and ourselves.

Concepts we will be working on:
* Identify body parts on dolls and on our own bodies
* Identify the five senses and what they do including eyes-see, nose-smell, ears-hear, mouth-taste and hands-touch
* Identify simple emotions including happy, sad, and angry
* Identifying our friends and ourselves in pictures

Activities we have planned:
* Create a "ME" book
* Sensory play in paper shreds and hearts, noodles and practice giving baby dolls a bath
* Explore facial expressions in a mirror
* Practice drinking through a straw and tasting some different flavors including cinnamon, sour and sweet

Celebrate with our friends on Monday, February 13 and Tuesday, February 14 with a Valentine party. If you choose, you may send Valentines with your child. There are 12 children in each class. (No need to address them - just sign your child's name on the back).

Reminder:
Please continue to bring in wipes and tissues for our runny noses!
