Summer Fun is Here!

Our focus this month will include:

* Going on a picnic
* A parade
* Bugs/playground
* Camping and the beach

Some of our concepts will include:

* Vocabulary: parade, red, white, blue, picnic, basket, sandwich, blanket, bugs, ant, flies, bear hunt, tent, camping, sleeping bag, lantern, flashlight, stars, instrument, beach, sand, water, bucket and crab.
* Action words: climb, jump, run, march and swing.
* Learning prepositions: up/down, under/over and in/out.

We will enjoy tasting frozen fruits/gogurt, s'mores, pop rocks and popsicles. Our special stories will include The Very Hungry Caterpillar, Butterfly House, In the Tall, Tall Grass and One HOT Summer Day.

Our art projects will include ice and sand painting, making maracas instruments and paper plate watermelons.

SPECIAL REMINDERS…

* Please remember Friday, July 4th school will be closed.
* Our summer fun activities will include water play. Please send gear to school for your child to wear while having fun doing these activities.
